Our Staff
Ms. Kristen comes to the Ready To Learn Center at Wilburn with 20+ years of experience in the field of early childhood education. Her experiences include special educator, speech language therapist/teacher, service coordinator, evaluator, parent educator, and early interventionist. As a Ready to Learn Facilitator, Kristen enjoys bridging classroom activities to the home setting. She believes that learning happens all around, especially when children play. Using hands-on play as a platform to talk about educational concepts is a wonderful way to get children excited about learning. The Ready to Learn Center is fun place for all who participate. Additionally, Kristen lives in Holly Springs with her husband and her 3 young children (ages 9, 7, and 4 years). As a family she enjoys going to the park, swimming in the pool, exploring nature, crafting, and going to the beach.
